“Simple living and high thinking” is a saying that I’ve heard since I was a little kid, but it has taken quite a while to fully register and internalize. Years of living on my own, moving across continents, meeting people of various cultures and backgrounds, battling with problems, and what-not have taught me to appreciate the beauty in leading a simple, deliberate, and conscious life.
There is an inherent happiness and satisfaction when every action is deliberate and intended – not out of impulse or pressured. I’ve read about this over and over again (especially in the Bhagavad Gita) and applying this to my life has created wonders.
I’ve decided to chronicle all the thoughts and realizations that have emerged out of this process in artoftheless.com – that’s my plan starting Jan 2017 and I hopefully never stop!
I am by no means a master, or a Guru, or a pundit. I am a 30-something y/o who is eager to lead a simple and deliberate life, live in a clutter-free and well-organized home, and who would like to spend every minute with family and friends laughing about the silliest things – you know, just have a good time 🙂
You’ll run into articles on decluttering, organizing, philosophy, compassion, and the occasional rant on artoftheless.com
